Jacksonville Jaguars

1. Bud Dupree
2. HaHa Clinton-Dix
3. Brian Poole

It’s clearly rebuilding time in Jacksonville, and the Jaguars are a team with a need at essentially every position. A defense once considered arguably the best in the league has been dismantled and, if Yannick Ngakoue gets his way, he too will be heading for the exit door.

Should Ngakoue depart the Jaguars will lose a premier edge-rushing talent. Dupree is not on the same level but will come at a more comfortable price with 2019 the first double-digit sack season of his career. Pittsburgh tagged Dupree but is up against the cap, so perhaps a deal can be worked out to replace Ngakoue.

Clinton-Dix is set to potentially join his third team in as many years. That is often a reason for alarm bells, but he’s an experienced option who can give the Jaguars reliability at free safety.

With A.J. Bouye on his way out, the Jags require new blood at corner. Poole is far from a household name but stood out for a poor pass defense in his first season with the Jets. His experience being utilized as an extra pass rusher would be useful for a team likely to have to get creative to generate pressure amid the talent drain on defense.
