Miami Dolphins

1. Yannick Ngakoue
2. Joe Thuney
3. Jack Conklin

No team is better set up to win the offseason than the Dolphins. Miami is swimming in cap space, entering 2020 with $93m in their pockets, and has a substantial measure of control of the draft after trading several assets for picks.

Given the depth of talent at the offensive skill positions and at corner in the draft, spending money on the trenches makes more sense in free agency.

Ngakoue got the franchise tag, but it would be malpractice from the pass-rush starved Dolphins not to pursue him in a trade. Miami should be a leading candidate to strike a deal.

Thuney knows Dolphins head coach Brian Flores well from their time in New England and would be a substantial upgrade to the interior of an awful offensive line were he to land in Miami. With the Tennessee Titans also seeking to bring back Ryan Tannehill and Derrick Henry, Conklin is more likely to hit the market. The Dolphins should be at the front of the queue for the 2016 All-Pro tackle as they seek to find protection for the man they select to be the quarterback of the future.
