Los Angeles Rams

1. Emmanuel Ogbah
2. Andrus Peat
3. Mike Daniels

The way in which the Rams have shorn themselves of draft picks and mortgaged their future through high-profile trades has made hitting on free agents imperative for Los Angeles.

General manager Les Snead is in a difficult spot. The likes of Cory Littleton and Dante Fowler are set to hit the market and may prove tough to re-sign with the contracts they could command.

Landing Ogbah would lessen the blow of potentially losing Fowler. If he can avoid further injuries he can have much the same impact as Fowler on a team where edge rushers benefit from the amount of attention Aaron Donald draws.

The interior of the offensive line struggled throughout 2019. Peat was a weak link on an otherwise excellent Saints O-Line but, with only $23m to operate with, the Rams may have to bet on a player with experience at guard and tackle.

On the other side of the trenches, defensive tackle Michael Brockers could depart for pastures new. Injury ended Daniels’ first season with the Lions early, but he won’t break the bank and – as he proved in Green Bay – is a premier D-Line talent when healthy. He could thrive next to Donald.
