CeeDee Lamb

Admittedly, CeeDee Lamb might not be available at No. 20, and that’s fine.

The Jaguars should not use their number nine pick on a wide receiver in such a deep draft, but if someone with the skills of Lamb falls down to 20th, they should pounce.

Lamb was an absolute force for the Oklahoma Sooners, a team that kept changing quarterbacks. He’s an incredibly talent, racking up just less than 3,300 yards in three years with the Big 12 powerhouse.

The most likely spot was previously the Arizona Cardinals, but after trading for DeAndre Hopkins they seem destined to take a tackle.  The fact this receiver class is so great might cause some teams to wait on receiver for positions that are less available.

Some mocks have Alabama’s Jerry Jeudy going before Lamb, which could be a mistake. It’s an error  the Jaguars can take advantage of. There’s an outside chance the Jags use their ninth-overall pick to take Lamb, but Chark has room to grow so we don’t see them reaching for a receiver in this class.

If Lamb falls to 20th, however, it’s a move they have to make. Especially with the Philadelphia Eagles picking right after them.
