In the weeks leading up to WWE WrestleMania 36, ESPN will air three classic WrestleMania events to get you ready for the pay-per-view.

The coronavirus pandemic has shut sports (and many businesses) down across the country, but WWE remains open for business. The WWE has run its televised events in an empty arena at Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. To get fans ready for this year’s card, ESPN will air three past WrestleMania events.

Sunday, March 22, ESPN will air WrestleMania 30 from April 6, 2014, and was held in New Orleans. Fans will remember that night for The Undertaker putting his undefeated WrestleMania streak on the line against Brock Lesnar.

It was also the night Daniel Bryan went after The Authority in hopes of finally winning the WWE Championship. This past week on Friday Night SmackDown, WWE aired another match from this event, as John Cena faced off against the maniacal Bray Wyatt. You’ll see that match and everything else from the card in its entirety. The start time is set for 7 p.m. ET.

Next Sunday, March 29, they will air WrestleMania 32 from April 3, 2016, when WWE headed down to Dallas for the annual event. Charlotte Flair, then-Divas Champion, faced off against former NXT sisters Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks to crown the new WWE Women’s Champion, which would terminate the “Divas” era.

Roman Reigns faced off against Triple for the WWE Championship, and Shane McMahon stepped inside the Hell In A Cell structure against The Undertaker. This will also start at 7 p.m. ET.

The final event to be aired will be on April 5, the day of WrestleMania 36 at 3 p.m. ET, which will give you time to switch over to the WWE Network for this year’s card. Last year’s event, WrestleMania 35 will be on the menu, which saw Kofi Kingston climb the mountain to the WWE Championship. It was also the first time ever that the women of WWE would main event the biggest show of the year, as Becky Lynch faced off against Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey and SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair in a triple threat match.

Each of these three events has its significance in WWE history. And now you’ll get to see them in full on broadcast television. Don’t forget, this year WWE splitting WrestleMania 36 into two nights – Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5. With the event being held in an empty arena, it would be hard to imagine sitting through a four-hour show. So in terms of keeping everyone’s attention, this should prove to be a smarter decision.

Hopefully, we will be back to packed arenas and the full experience of the WWE Universe soon and the sports world will be back on track.
