2. Terrell Lewis, Alabama Edge

Lewis is another ‘tweener between the outside linebacker and defensive end positions. He isn’t as complete a player as Braun, but he’s more likely to still be on the board when the Vikings go on the clock at No. 25.

Just how good he can become in the NFL will depend on his ability to add weight. If he can add 20 plus pounds to his 6-foot-5 game he has a chance to become an above average starter. That is dependent on his ability to maintain his burst even after he adds the necessary pounds.

In the short-term, he can function as a valuable pass rusher for the Vikings on obvious passing downs. He needs to add more pass rushing moves to his repertoire, but that’s something the Minnesota coaching staff can help him with.

Lewis needs to be drafted by the right team if he’s going to fulfill his potential. The Vikings would be an ideal landing spot for him on draft night. If Zimmer believes in his potential he could represent excellent value at No. 25.
