897. . OG. Bulldogs . Netane Muti. 65. player

Step one after selecting your new franchise quarterback is to protect him with a competent offensive line. In the third round, Fresno State’s Netane Muti is a player the Bengals could task with doing so.

Muti is built like an industrial refrigerator and displays exactly the type of power you’d expect from a man his size. He’s struggled with injuries throughout his career but showed he was healthy at the Combine by posting a ridiculous 44 reps on the bench press.

Muti uses his size and upper body strength as an excellent anchor in pass protection and can knock defenders completely off-course with his powerful hands. He definitely won’t win many battles in space as a puller but you won’t find as many players as strong at the point of attack than the former Bulldog.

The signing of Xavier Su’a-Filo was a nice low-risk addition in free agency and paired with the return of Jonah Williams, Muti could help make the Bengals’ line much better in 2020.
