The pride of Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas, offensive lineman Kyle Hinton is one of the biggest small-school draft risers to watch in 2020.
Hinton started over 30 games in his career for the Ichabods and put on an electric performance at Kansas State’s Pro Day, recording 34 bench reps, 34.5-inch vertical jump, and a 4.70 (!!!) 40-yard dash at 296 pounds. The athleticism and tenacity of Hinton stand out immediately on tape, despite playing against lower-level competition.
There’s never a bad time to add depth along the offensive line and Hinton is exactly the type of player that Gruden and Mayock would love to add to the roster.
