2. Jerry Jeudy

Ruggs isn’t the only Alabama receiver who is drawing massive interest from teams in Round 1. Jeudy will almost certainly go before his fellow Crimson Tide receiver on day one of the draft.

If the Raiders want to secure his services, they’ll likely need to scoop him up at No. 12. It’s hard to see him lasting all the way to No. 19. That also means that Las Vegas will need to judge him to be the No. 1 wide receiver in this year’s draft class.

That’s certainly a defensible opinion. Jeudy has a terrific combination of size, speed and polish as a wide receiver. He’s going to step in and make immediate contributions for the team that drafts him. It’s hard to imagine him being anything worse than a high quality starter for the next decade.

Jeudy is a classic No. 1 wide receiver who will torment cornerbacks with his body control and route running skills. He has a rare level of polish for a collegiate wideout. He’s going to go early in the draft. If he lasts to No. 12, he could easily hear his name called by the Raiders.
