1. Joey Bosa, Los Angeles Chargers defensive end

Pass rushing is something that never goes out of style in the NFL. Joey Bosa is a defensive end who has proven that he’s capable of providing big sack numbers on an annual basis. There may be some concerns about his injury history, but that won’t suppress his market in the slightest if he hits free agency.

The former Ohio State star is the complete package at defensive end. He can destroy offensive lineman that try to block him one-on-one. Bosa also shows a real knack for shedding double teams and still creating pressure. No one in the NFL is truly unblockable, but Bosa is as close as it gets.

Obviously, the Chargers will be motivated to do everything in their power to bring Bosa back via a long-term contract. He’s going to be the face of the franchise after Philip Rivers‘ departure. Defensive ends don’t sell tickets as quarterbacks do, but Bosa can help this team win games by himself on the defensive side of the ball.

Expect to se the Chargers and Bosa really get into a long and protracted negotiating battle ahead of free agency. He’ll want to reset the market at a position that’s already paid handsomely. If Los Angeles’ blinks, they’ll see Bosa get that deal from another team in free agency. He’s a great fit for every defensive coordinator in the league.
