When a dynasty like the Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen-led Chicago Bulls are as dominant as they are, they’ll inevitably leave plenty of victims in their wake.

In this piece, we’ll look at five great teams that were ruined by the dominance of the Michael Jordan-Scottie Pippen Bulls. There isn’t a strict criterion here but I tried to go outside of the box and look at teams that were directly and negatively affected by the Chicago Bulls dominance in the 1990s.

Teams that were able to find success after the Bulls broke up in 1998 (Indiana Pacers) or teams that I felt got in their own way (Seattle SuperSonics) were not included. I also did not include the Utah Jazz because close to 15 years of success and stability shouldn’t be ignored just because they lost to the Bulls in back-to-back NBA Finals.

Without further ado, let’s get to the list.
