5 college football coaches you’d want to be with during a quarantine (and 1 total buzzkill)
5. P.J. Fleck, Minnesota
If there’s one college coach I would expect to be thoroughly entertaining when it comes to being stuck in quarantine together, it’s P.J. Fleck. He is a love it or lose it kind of personality, who many would probably find too annoying to put up with. However, once you get to know him, he’s likely one of the most genuine quarantine partners you can have.
He may make you work out a bit during quarantine, or study the game plan or watch tape, but Fleck is also the type of guy to make a run to the grocery store and come back with a six-pack, and/or loan you his Netflix account.
Not many coaches, or even people in general, bring the energy that Fleck does to a game, and I can only think that this would carry over to a friendly game of H-O-R-S-E (or perhaps R-O-W T-H-E B-O-A-T) in the back yard basketball court, or on evening runs to get that much-needed quarantine exercise.
Whether it’s a chill day in quarantine sleeping in and watching game tape and movies to pick Fleck’s brain, a day-time fiesta on the back porch or an exercise-filled afternoon, Fleck fits the bill as a cool quarantine partner for his energy and outgoing attitude.
