5 college football coaches you’d want to be with during a quarantine (and 1 total buzzkill)
3. Les Miles, Kansas
Alright, you’re just going to have to hear me out on this one.
In quarantine, things can get awfully boring and vanilla—and in a hurry.
What better way to spice up your life than to bring the Mad Hatter himself into it? Not only does Miles bring with him a National Championship, but he also brings one of college football’s most unique personalities and attitudes about the game. Miles reputation for the eccentric translates into many an interesting daily itinerary while you’re stuck at home.
From watching his favorite television show—I won’t even hazard a guess at what that could be—to hear his takes on football and his participation in the “Fansville” series, Miles provides a lot of entertainment based on his personality alone. Throw in learning about his crazy game plan, and an hour-long discussion on just what made the LSU football field taste so good, and you’ve got yourself a heck of a quarantine partner.
To add to that, imagine taking a quarantine grocery shopping trip with Miles. For some reason that strikes me as turning into an episode of “Guy’s Grocery Games” wherein you’re frantically sprinting around the aisles of your local supermarket looking for a mixture of junk food and highly-healthy ingredients.
He may be 66 years old, but he can still bring some entertainment to your days in quarantine.
