Lucas Raymond of the SHL’s Frölunda HC has established himself as a very difficult player to match up against over the course of the past few seasons.

Raymond’s combination of elite vision with noteworthy on-ice smarts will not go unnoticed among individuals evaluating future NHL talent — especially because of the player’s capacity to offer a strong two-way game, night in and night out.

Any organization looking to shore up its power play will be in on the 17-year-old. He plays a pass-first game while also managing to fool opponents with a shot of the high-end variety.

Arguably the smartest player in the present class, look for Raymond to be a staple of draft discussions.
