2. San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers have tinkered with the shade of their scarlet red but other than that they have wisely left their helmet along. I love the gold and scarlet combo, the SF and the red and white stripe. This helmet is close to perfection.

1. Pittsburgh Steelers

As a kid growing up in Northeast Ohio and rooting for the Browns, I hated the Steelers. But even I have to admit, their helmet is one of the most iconic in all of sports. Pittsburgh’s helmet, like Cleveland’s, is extremely unique, with the logo featured on only one side.

Pittsburgh uses a variation of the “steel mark” logo owned by the American Iron and Steel Institute. The Steelers helmet not only looks fantastic but it perfectly represents the team and the region it plays in.

All right, so you have now all had to endure my personal rankings of NFL helmets. You can either hop on down to the comments section to start calling me an idiot or you can include your own personal rankings below. I’d love to see them.
