8. Markus Golden, EDGE

Perfect Fit: New York Jets

The edge-rushing market has dried up pretty quickly with most of the top talent either getting franchise tagged or signing quickly in free agency. One guy who is still looking for a job is Markus Golden, who had 10 sacks for the New York Giants but is still unemployed largely due to his injury history.

One team that is in big need of an edge-rusher is the New York Jets, who have too many needs to spend premium draft capital on one. Signing Golden could temporarily fill that hole for the Jets and buy them time to find a longer-term solution to that issue.

7. Everson Griffen, DE

Perfect Fit: Dallas Cowboys

Another talented pass rusher who is still looking for a job is Everson Griffen, who has been a productive player for the last decade with the Minnesota Vikings. Griffen won’t be going back to Minnesota due to cap concerns, but he still had eight sacks a year ago to prove there is plenty left in the tank.

A player like Griffen makes sense for a team close to winning at age 32 and the Dallas Cowboys should be all over him. Griffen could fill the spot in the lineup that was vacated when Robert Quinn signed in Chicago, giving Dallas a bookend opposite Demarcus Lawrence.
