At night two of WWE‘s WrestleMania 36, Charlotte Flair defeated Rhea Ripley to win the NXT women’s championship.
Flair earned the shot at the title by winning the 2020 women’s Royal Rumble match. This is her second reign as NXT women’s champ, having previously held the title between 2014 and 2015 while in NXT. This is her 12th female title between the NXT women’s title, the WWE divas title and the Raw and Smackdown women’s titles.
