After a historic two nights of WWE WrestleMania 36, here are a few things we learned.

It was groundbreaking and it was an experience that has never been seen before. But from top to bottom, there were a few things we learned about WWE’s presentation of WrestleMania 36.

Give The Undertaker every Oscar. No exceptions

First, and possibly the biggest thing we learned — The Undertaker deserves every award on the planet. The Boneyard Match he had with AJ Styles was a cinematic stroke of genius, for a number of reasons. The presentation, as corny as it might have been, was a welcome break from the empty arena action of the Performance Center. It helped WrestleMania take everybody’s minds off everything that is happening in the world right now. And if you strapped me to a chair and forced me to watch a single match from WrestleMania 36 for the next month, I can’t possibly imagine it being anything other than this one.

Charlotte Flair is officially “Ms. WrestleMania”

Next, Charlotte Flair may be the women’s equivalent of Shawn Michaels. If you look at her history, it’s hard to find anyone that is better in a big match situation than The Queen. And after beating Rhea Ripley to capture her second NXT Women’s Championship, she may have solidified herself as the BEST woman of this generation. Somewhere, the Nature Boy is strutting in celebration.

Drew Gulak is ready for his shot

Drew Gulak sealed his fate this weekend as a legit superstar. And there is no reason why Gulak doesn’t receive a shot at the Intercontinental Championship in short order. After making his way through the 205 Live ranks and getting a little exposure with the big boys, it may be just a matter of time before we see him wearing major singles gold.

Edge looks as good now as he did nine years ago

Remember that “Rated R Superstar” guy, Edge? The guy that we hadn’t seen in nine years, before the Royal Rumble? He hasn’t missed a step. There were a few times during his Last Man Standing match with Randy Orton that had us holding our breath, but I’m for him being back if he can say healthy and not do anything COMPLETELY crazy.

WWE will be 10 times better when fans are allowed back in.

It’s been mentioned a few times, but WWE made a statement this weekend. They wanted to take everyone’s mind off the real world, even if for just a few hours a night. And while the rest of the sports world is shut down, WWE has stuck around. Every superstar gave everything they had this weekend, so just imagine how much more they will give when they have the fans to interact with and things get back to normal.
