. EDGE. Crimson Tide . Terrell Lewis. 124. player. 829

Much of the pre-draft focus around Alabama has centered around their talented crop of first-round offensive stars (Wills, Tagavailoa, Jeudy, Ruggs) but there are several intriguing options on defense to be found in the later rounds.

You can never have too much of a pass rush, which is why Pittsburgh opts for talented Crimson Tide EDGE Terrell Lewis in round four.

Lewis checks all of the size and length boxes (6-foot-5, 262 pounds, 33 7/8-inch arm length) to excel as a pass rusher in the NFL, and has gone somewhat under the radar during the draft process. Durability has a lot to do with that but there’s no denying the flashes and athletic ability he shows on tape.

If the Steelers are comfortable with his medicals, he’s a nice value at this point in the fourth round.

OT. Pittsburgh Steelers. Alex Taylor. 135. player. 55.

Holy cow is South Carolina State’s Alex Taylor a massive human being. At 6-foot-8, 308 pounds with 36 1/8-inch arms, Taylor is one of the most intriguing and athletic tackle prospects in the entire class.

Both bookends on the Pittsburgh offensive line are set to hit free agency after next season so throwing a high-upside, developmental prospect makes sense at this stage of the draft. The Steelers have some familiarity with the South Carolina State program and could return with the selection of Taylor if they feel their coaching staff can unlock his enormous potential.
