5th round – No selections

6th round

809. . WR. Badgers . Quintez Cephus. 199. player

You can’t argue with taking a wide receiver in this draft, especially with the potential free agency of Juju Smith-Schuster looming around the corner for the Steelers. That’s why here in the sixth round, Pittsburgh adds talented former Badger Quintez Cephus.

Cephus was a reliable target for the run-happy Badgers over the last two seasons, logging 13 total touchdowns. His game could serve as a nice complement to Juju and deep threat James Washington in the Steelers offense.

7th round

810. . DT. Cornhuskers . Khalil Davis. 233. player

With Javon Hargrave gone I expect the Steelers to address the defensive tackle spot, perhaps much earlier than Day 3. In this scenario, Pittsburgh takes talented former Cornhusker Khalil Davis, whose speed and quick-twitch play wowed scouts at the Combine.
