WR. LSU. Justin Jefferson. player. Scouting Report. 21. 54. Pick Analysis

Justin Jefferson makes it three LSU offensive players to go in the top 21 picks. After a breakout season — everyone broke out at LSU last year — Jefferson put himself in the first round mix. But after running well at the combine and answering questions about his timed speed, Jefferson cemented his status as a first-rounder. One of the biggest flaws of the 2019 Philadelphia Eagles was the lack of depth at receiver. Carson Wentz was throwing to a bunch of guys off the street at one point with Nelson Agholor the best option. That’s how rough it was. Adding Jefferson gives Wentz a legit No. 1 option.

Alabama. Trevon Diggs. 22. CB. Pick Analysis. player. 60. Scouting Report

This might get a little awkward for the Minnesota Vikings because of the last name, but he’s a great fit for what they need. Trevon Diggs is the younger brother of former Vikings receiver Stefon Diggs who was traded to the Buffalo Bills in the offseason for a bounty of picks. That shouldn’t preclude the Vikings from taking the best player at a glaring position of weakness. The Vikings needed to replace Xavier Rhodes who was bad last year before leaving in free agency and Diggs is well-coached coming from Alabama and fits Mike Zimmer’s scheme perfectly.
