4. DJ Chark will go over 1,250 yards receiving

Chark came into the NFL from LSU with a ton of physical gifts, but very little polish. That’s why he struggled mightily in his rookie season. Fortunately for the Jaguars, the light came on for Chark in his second season as a pro.

Last year he led the team with 1,008 yards receiving on 73 catches. That paced the wide receiver group by a fair margin. It’s safe to say he will enter the 2020 campaign as the team’s unquestioned No. 1 wideout.

His growth should take another step forward. He’s got the size and speed required to blossom into one of the top 10 wide receivers in football. His production will increase as his feel for the position increases. Specifically, he will put up more yards when he feels comfortable running the full tree of routes in the Jaguars offense.

This season should see Chark flirt with 100 catches. He won’t catch quite that many balls, but he’s going to make even more big plays. 1,250 yards is an ambitious, but completely reachable goal for Chark this season.
