Taika Waititi went on Instagram Live for a Thor: Ragnarok party and addressed the big Thor: Love and Thunder rumors on everyone’s mind.

For the first time in Thor: Ragnarok’s life, something good came out of an Instagram Live stream. (Sorry, Mark Ruffalo). On Thursday night, Taika Waititi fired up his laptop with Ragnarok and opened up Instagram Live for a watch party with fans.

There, he answered questions fans dropped in the chat and revealed a lot about his next Marvel movie, Thor: Love and Thunder. Despite the movie not coming out for some time, there were enough ideas in motion for him to reveal a few things about what he has planned, as the director said he’s written about five or six drafts of the movie already. And so, here are the biggest Thor: Love and Thunder rumors and questions Waititi addressed during his Ragnarok watch party.

Will the Silver Surfer be in Thor: Love and Thunder?

Sorry fans, Waititi said the Silver Surfer won’t be showing up in Thor: Love and Thunder. Even though rights to the beloved character have been returned to Disney/Marvel Studios’ hands with the Fox acquisition, it looks like now’s not the time for the character to appear.

Although, Waititi did hint that we could see Starsharks appear, the space-traveling sharks that first appeared in The X-Men comics.

Will Beta Ray Bill be in Thor: Love and Thunder?

As of right now, Waititi isn’t sure if Beta Ray Bill will definitively be in Thor: Love and Thunder. Rumors about this began to spread when it was announced that Christian Bale would be appearing in the movie. Some thought Beta Ray Bill would be the character he plays, but it’s now looking like the God-Butcher, Gorr, could be a possibility.

Will Loki be in Thor: Love and Thunder?

Of the many character appearances fans are hopeful for in Thor: Love and Thunder, Loki’s is still one that’s up in the air. Waititi would neither confirm nor deny that the God of Mischief would return for the fourth Thor installment, but that, of course, likely depends on what happens in the Disney+ series.

What will happen to Miek?

Waititi was able to share some mock-up designs for Miek, who he revealed is female. One of the designs showed Miek wearing sleek, long robotic legs while another design was less… well, sexy, as far as robotic appendages go. Another mockup design showed Miek in some classy business attire, complete with a pencil skirt — if only the design could actually make it into the movie.

What will New Asgard look like?

Another thing the director was able to share with fans was concept art for New Asgard. What was once known as Tønsberg, Norway, has now become a mesh of Asgardian and Midgardian culture. It looks like the little village will have grown more from the time we saw it last in Avengers: Endgame.

Will Tony Stark be in Thor: Love and Thunder?

For anyone who saw the live stream where Waititi “leaked” the script of the movie, it’s all just fun and games. No, Tony Stark won’t be in Thor: Love and Thunder. While Waititi was showing off concept art of Miek during his live stream, he also (very blatantly) showed a script that included dialogue between Tony Stark and Thor.

Leave it to Waititi to actually include something this offbeat in the film, though. Perhaps it’s a wild fever dream Thor had while off in space with the Guardians of the Galaxy.
