Los Angeles Chargers 2020 mock draft: Full 7 rounds
By Conor Dorney
5th round
Calvin Throckmorton seemingly played every position but equipment manager in his Oregon career and is best suited for guard in the NFL. His instincts and experience will give him the opportunity to compete with Dan Feeney for the left guard spot in year one.
6th round
The Chargers have been all over linebackers in the draft process (Wyoming’s Logan Wilson is another option) and here they add Jordan Love’s former teammate, David Woodward.
Woodward was a tackling machine for the Aggies and has good instincts and quickness to make up for his lack of size. He’s a great option for LA on Day 3 if its preferred names are off the board in rounds 2-4.
7th round
The Chargers don’t have to go far for their pick in round seven with UCLA running back Joshua Kelley.
Kelley is a tough interior runner with sneaky speed and would fit as a nice complement to spell the recently-extended Austin Ekeler. Several former UCLA staffers help to make up the LA coaching staff and front office and that connection should pay off on Day 3.
