2nd round

OL. Buckeyes . Jonah Jackson. 63. player. 812.

The offensive line figures to be another focus of the Chiefs early on, so why not head back to Columbus with the pick of Ohio State’s Jonah Jackson?

Jackson is a big, powerful prospect with positional versatility who excels as a pass-blocker and would be an excellent fit for Kansas City’s offensive scheme. He lacks the athleticism to make much of a difference in the run game, but his skill as a pass-protector will give the Chiefs plenty of incentive to add him to protect Patrick Mahomes.

Jackson immediately stepped into a starting role at left guard for the Buckeyes after transferring from Rutgers and has the capability to play both guard and center at the next level. Austin Reiter is slated to hit free agency after next season and Kansas City could view Jackson as his eventual replacement while serving as depth at guard in the meantime.
