Kansas City Chiefs 2020 mock draft: Full 7 rounds
By Conor Dorney
5th round
Kansas City figures to add more than one player in the secondary with this draft class and takes a flyer on Arkansas’ Kamren Curl here on Day 3.
Curl played safety the past two seasons for the Razorbacks but has prior experience at cornerback, which may be his best fit at the pro level. Curl’s size and length (6-foot-1, 206 pounds, 32 5/8-inch arm length) make him an intriguing fit at boundary corner.
Kansas City defensive backs coach Sam Madison played his college ball under Ron Cooper, who has served as Arkansas’ secondary coach for the past two seasons.
