After making some rather controversial comments this week towards WWE, former UFC star Ronda Rousey struck again on Instagram.

As if making some controversial verbal comments weren’t enough, former UFC star Ronda Rousey struck again this week on Instagram to continue her attack on WWE.

You might have already heard what Rousey said on the Steve-O-Reno podcast, “Wilde Ride!” recently. After making some rather heated comments towards the WWE Universe, she returned to Instagram on Saturday to open up more about her time with the company.

As you can see above, Rousey was less than loving about her year-long tenure with WWE. Even after spending several months as Raw Women’s Champion, and joining Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair as the only women to EVER headline a WrestleMania main event, it didn’t deter her from her stance on the company and how it is portrayed compared to UFC.

Rousey hasn’t been seen in WWE since WrestleMania 35, when she lost the title to Becky Lynch the now infamous triple threat match that headlined the card. Many thought she would take some time off and get back to action. But she hasn’t. In fact, all she’s done is throw some pretty vicious shade at the sports entertainment company.

Spending 300 days a year on the road is incredibly difficult on the body, regardless of what sport you take part in. Whether it’s the NFL, MLB, or even UFC and WWE, there is a lot you put your body through as you’re constantly training and traveling. And unlike the major sports organizations, UFC and WWE go without a recognized offseason.

Her comments were borderline childish. Yes, WWE is a predetermined sport. Yes, WWE has scripted content. But the athleticism, the training, the lifestyle itself is far from “fake,” as she calls it. And her comments have drawn the ire of some current ladies on the WWE side of things.

Lana and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Alexa Bliss took offense to Rousey’s rant and voiced their opinions on Twitter.

But the big rebuttal came from the recently returning Nia Jax, who just spent a year on the shelf after double knee surgery. She went to her personal Twitter and said that she’d risk her job to go down in history as the only one from the business to knock Rousey out.

One thing is for sure. If and when Rousey makes her return to the ring, she’s going to have A LOT of people to answer to for everything she has said. And based on how this week has been, we’ve probably not heard the last of her.
