Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. East. New York Giants. player. NFC. 2. 31

If there is any team who is going to have a hard time using Zoom, it would have to be the New York Giants. This doesn’t seem like something that would be up general manager Dave Gettleman’s alley, does it? His lack of understanding of analytics not even two years ago was alarming. What could go wrong here?

Add in this is Joe Judge‘s first draft as a head coach, and the Giants are incredibly vulnerable here. They got crushed by the media for their last two first-round picks. New York took running back Saquon Barkley over quarterback Sam Darnold, who plays for the other NFL team that calls MetLife Stadium home. People weren’t exactly thrilled with the Giants taking Daniel Jones either.

Together, you can say that’s a pretty good quarterback/running back tandem the Giants have, but past performance indicates future behavior. They may do something incredibly strange at No. 4 in the draft. Why take the top offensive tackle in the draft and solve a need a massive need in the process when you can do something compromising that leads to a certain face palm?

If any team has issues with the Zoom process, it will be the Giants because of Gettleman. You can feel the stubbornness coming through the computer screen. Judge will want to own his first draft so badly, but he’s in for a potential nightmare scenario with his general manager. If a team were to hack the Giants, there is no way in knowing because they do so much dumb stuff already as is.
