4. WR Parris Campbell

It’s hard to overstate the importance of wide receiver T.Y. Hilton to the Indianapolis Colts’ offense. He’s led the team in receptions in six of the past seven seasons dating back to his second year in the league. The 2012 third-round pick from Florida International totaled at least 50 catches in each of his first eight NFL campaigns and reached at least 1,000 receiving yards five times. In 2019, he played in a career-low 10 contests and still led the Colts with 45 grabs.

Still, the team has been searching for a counterpart to the four-time Pro Bowler ever since Reggie Wayne’s last season with the club in 2014. This past year, Zach Pascal finished fourth on the club with 41 catches, led the team with 607 receiving yards and tied Hilton for the club lead with five TD receptions. Last offseason, the Colts signed Devin Funchess. But the former Carolina Panthers’ wideout wound up playing in only one game for the club and this year, signed with the Green Bay Packers.

Last April, Chris Ballard used a second-round pick on Ohio State wideout Parris Campbell. But his season added up to a total of seven games and he managed only 18 catches for 127 yards and one score. He battled numerous injuries this past year but is more than capable of a bounce back season.
