1. CB Kenny Moore II

You can refer to Indianapolis Colts’ cornerback Kenny Moore in any number of ways since he joined the franchise in 2017. From undrafted to unsung, he’s been a highly-productive player for this club each of the past three seasons. And he’ll be counted on even more this year what with the numerous changes in coordinator Matt Eberflus’ secondary, particularly at the cornerback position.

The newcomers include three-time Pro Bowler Xavier Rhodes – released this offseason by the Minnesota Vikings –and T.J. Carrie, late of the Cleveland Browns. Meanwhile, Moore comes off a season in which he missed five games. But the third-year pro still came up with 61 tackles, two interceptions, three passes defensed and 2.5 sacks. In three seasons with the Colts since being released by the Patriots, Moore has a half-dozen interceptions, totaled 19 passes and four quarterback traps.

As previously mentioned, the Colts’ secondary took its lumps this past season. But the additions of Rhodes and Carrie as well as the steady and unsung play of Moore could add up to better things this fall. And perhaps the 24-year-old’s fourth NFL season will come with some overdue recognition in terms of Pro Bowl or All-Pro honors.
