Fifth Round

McTelvin Agim. 156. player. Scouting Report. IDL. Arkansas. 844. Pick Analysis

D.J. Jones and Solomon Thomas could use a little help inside, and Arkansas lineman McTelvin Agim could be the answer. He could be a hidden gem within this draft class if he’s able to find his way on the field.

At Arkansas, Agim led the team with 8.5 tackles for loss and five sacks in 2019, tallying 39 total tackles and forcing a fumble in 12 starts in 2019. He was a defensive end before last season, and therefore has limited tape on the inside. He will need to add more strength and develop his technique as a defensive tackle in order to become a rotational option in a 4-3 defense.

Justin Strnad. 176. Scouting Report. LB. Wake Forest. player. 889. Pick Analysis

What Wake Forest linebacker Justin Strand lacks in size, he makes up for in speed. He has the speed of a larger safety and the range to match. If kept clean, Strnad has the ability to find the ball and make a tackle on every single play. That lack of size though will hurt him against a power NFL run game. Bigger backs would like be able to wear him down throughout a game, making him a liability if a team wants to attack in that manner. In a 4-3 scheme, Strand does have WILL potential, but early on his biggest impact will have to come on special teams or on third down passing situations.
