San Francisco 49ers 2020 full NFL Mock Draft
Sixth Round
Running back isn’t a huge need for the 49ers, but it’s one they may be able to address late in the draft. The UCLA product was a second-team all-conference pick in 2019 with 1,060 yards and 12 touchdowns to go along with 11 receptions for 71 yards and one touchdown. Kelley was actually even better in 2018 with 1,243 yards and 12 scores on 225 carries.
Kelley is a physical downhill runner, and he could be a power back in third and short or goal line situations for the 49ers.
Seventh Round
A tackle in college, Hilbers may be better suited inside in the NFL. He excels as a run blocker compared to his pass protection, and he needs to improve his game against speed rushers. Hilbers is a project offensive lineman, but the 49ers may have the time to try to develop his skills and to find the right fit for him on the field.
Kendall Coleman isn’t the most athletic or physically gifted edge player, but he is one the hardest working. He put in a ton of work to add strength to his game, and it should pay off with a chance to crack an NFL roster. He’s likely a player that could use some time on the practice squad to learn how to manufacture an NFL level rush due to his lack of speed, size, and athleticism.
