4th round

Isaiah Hodgins. 108. player. 832. . WR. Beavers

Terry McLaurin had one of the best rookie seasons of the 2019 class but Washington is severely lacking depth behind him.

Thankfully, this is the perfect year to add talent at the position and Oregon State’s Isaiah Hodgins is a great value in round four.

Hodgins led the Beavs in receiving each of the past two seasons and has great size and an excellent catch radius. He isn’t a burner but embraces physicality against press coverage and displays outstanding body control to haul in tough throws.

As defenses begin to focus more on McLaurin, Washington is in need of someone who can win one-on-one battles on the outside and Hodgins is the perfect guy to do it.

142. player. 840. . RB. Gators . Lamical Perine

Adrian Peterson continues to churn out yards but Father Time could be the next defender he has to shake off in the open field. With Derrius Guice’s difficulty with staying out of the training room, Washington adds former Gator Lamical Perine with their second pick in the fourth round.

Perine was productive in all four of his years in Gainesville and showed off a newfound talent for catching the ball out of the backfield in his senior season. He’s a patient runner with prototypical size and should serve as a nice complement to Peterson in the run game.

New assistant coach Luke Del Rio played with Perine in the same backfield three seasons ago and could vouch for his former teammate at this stage of the draft.
