8. Eno Benjamin, Arizona State

Arizona State’s Eno Benjamin received a lot of hype after his sophomore season when he put up 1,642 yards and 16 touchdowns. His junior year saw a bit of a drop in production but he still managed to go over the 1,000-yard mark and reach double-digit touchdowns. The biggest issue was the drop in yards per carry, from 5.5 to 4.3.

Benjamin brings elite athleticism to the table. He didn’t test well at the scouting combine but the change in schedule had a lot of players out of whack. His ability to move laterally is astounding at times and he put some jaw-dropping plays in the mix. Benjamin shows good burst in space as well and NFL teams will want to get him on the perimeter. He’s also very effective as a receiver with how well he can operate in space and he shows good hands on top of it.

There are a couple knocks to Benjamin’s game that keeps him out of the top two tiers. He had six fumbles in 2019 and ball security can’t turn into a problem in the NFL. Benjamin does play a little out of control at times and his biggest knock is his vision between the tackles. Getting into a scheme that gives him a good cutback lane would be best. The athleticism and ability in the passing game will be his selling points.
