Fourth Round

EDGE. player. 843. Pick Analysis. Utah. Bradlee Anae. 114. Scouting Report

Corey Peters, Chandler Jones and Zach Allen will be a feared trio next season in the pass rush, but adding just one more EDGE player could help the group develop into one of the league’s best.

Utah’s Bradlee Anae is gaining traction and attention from NFL scouts, and could be a mid-round steal. He twice was named a first-team All-Pac-12 player and in 2019 was a third-team AP All-American. Anae led the Utes with 14 tackles for loss and tallied 41 total tackles in 14 starts, 13 of which were sacks. He has a high-motor, and the more his tape is watched the more you grow to appreciate that effort. Anae is better as an attacker and therefore can get washed out in the run game holding the edge, but he has great instincts and up field burst. His best chance to make a difference for the Cardinals would probably be as a standup pass rusher, but he has the skills and traits to play with a hand in the dirt.

TE. Missouri. player. Pick Analysis. 131. 822. Scouting Report. Albert Okwuegbunam

Maxx Williams, Darrell Daniels and Dan Arnold don’t quite stack up as a great tight end group in the NFL. The Arizona Cardinals could do a lot better, and perhaps Albert Okwuegbunam could find a way to develop into the #1 or #2 option on this team.

In 2019 Okwuegbunam started nine of 11 games, missing some time due to a nagging shoulder injury. Still, the tight end earned second-team All-SEC honors with 26 receptions for 306 yards and 6 touchdowns. He is a boom-or-bust prospect, compared to Ravens tight end Mark Andrews.

Fifth Round

The Cardinals do not currently possess a fifth round pick.
