The Bachelor franchise is back with its latest spin-off, the music-themed Listen to Your Heart and we have a new episode of Can I Steal You for a Second? to break it all down.
Maybe it’s the lack of The Bachelorette on the horizon. Maybe it was the…everything about Peter’s season. Maybe it’s just everything going on in the world right now, but Listen to Your Heart hit extremely right when the new Bachelor spin-off premiered on Monday night. Our deepest apologies to ABC for all the cynicism.
One episode in, Listen to Your Heart is working in a big way. The (more) balanced cast of men and women creates more interesting stakes and a different kind of drama; the music gimmick, while feeling a tad forced at the moment, has high potential; the producer intervention feels properly calibrated. All good things.
But of course, there’s drama to talk about too. A love triangle is already thriving and the first ceremony was high-intensity to say the least. Also: The Plain White T’s! So let’s talk about it.
