Carolina Hurricanes: Brass Bonanza

None of the Hurricanes goal songs from their relocation to Carolina are that great, in my opinion. Brass Bonanza is an iconic song in the history of the NHL for a reason. Listening to it is like stepping back into time. And those horns! What a song.

Chicago Blackhawks: Chelsea Dagger by The Fratellis

What else could this be? The Blackhawks have utilized this song since 2008, and it’s without a doubt one of the more famous goal songs in the NHL. For good reason.

Colorado Avalanche: Chase The Sun by Planet Funk

The Avalanche have stuck with one goal song (Rock and Roll Part 2, like so many other teams) for the majority of their history, but their current goal song is a nice breath of fresh air. Though not as hype as some may want it to be, it’s quite a beautiful song on its own.

Columbus Blue Jackets: The Whip by Locksley

While the iconic “FOR THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK… FIRE” quote comes from an AC/DC song, the Blue Jackets have used the same iteration of their goal song for awhile now, and it works. It’s a great mash up, no matter how you feel about the canon.

Dallas Stars: Puck Off

You know, I give Dallas credit for sticking with their original goal song. The team doesn’t really have much in terms of goal song history, so we’ll give the Stars their original song here on the basis of creativity.
