Tampa Bay Lightning: Fluxland by XL

The Flyers, I believe, tried to turn this into their goal song a few years back, but it never worked because this song was always the Lightning’s. It’s nothing out of the ordinary, but it gets fans going with chants and a unique feel to it.

Toronto Maple Leafs: You Make My Dreams by Hall & Oates

This song is a new one for the Maple Leafs over the last few years, and I really dig it. Not just because the song is iconic, but it’s great to see the Maple Leafs dig into a different style of song for their goal song. It feels just right to be hearing this as Auston Matthews or one of the Maple Leafs young stars scores a goal.

Vancouver Canucks: Gold on the Ceiling by The Black Keys

Other hockey teams have used this goal song before, but since the Predators moved to a different goal song I feel like the Canucks can own this one. It’s a great track that didn’t get a long shelf life in Vancouver, but is one of their more strong goal songs.

Vegas Golden Knights: Vegas Lights by Panic! At The Disco

Not the most well-known Panic! At The Disco song, sure, but Vegas did well with choosing an upbeat song for their goal song in their short history thus far in the league.

Washington Capitals: The Wicker Man by Iron Maiden

The Capitals experimented with an original song for their goal song once upon a time, but the team should go back to basics in the future. The section they picked from this song for their goal song is a great sing-along tune, and it’s a shame it’s gone.

Winnipeg Jets: Jump by Van Halen

Again, I’m surprised more hockey teams haven’t gone down this route before. Though the Jets current goal song is great, it’s hard not to want such an iconic song back as their goal song, especially because of how upbeat it is.
