. Edge. Minnesota Vikings. A.J. Epenesa. 25. player. 60

The Minnesota Vikings hold two first round picks in a span of four selections, and the plan should be to add to both sides of the ball. After adding a quality wide receiver at pick No. 22 in Tee Higgins, they turn their attention to the defensive side of the ball, where they add one of the premier edge rushers in this draft class.

A.J. Epenesa is a guy who can come in and be a double-digit sack machine at the NFL level, and he lands with the Vikings here. Many feel that Epenesa is the third-best edge rusher in this draft class, and based on his tape at Iowa, he is a high-motor guy who has that uncanny knack at getting after the quarterback.

Epenesa is a special talent, and he has the skill set to come in and fill the void left by Griffen along this Vikings defensive line. The Vikings have the talent to be the kings of the NFC North  next season, and if they can hit on their two first round picks, they could make an even deeper run.

New York Giants. Yetur Gross-Matos. 26. player. 31. . Edge

The New York Giants swung a deal during our latest 2020 NFL mock draft to allow the Miami Dolphins to move up to the No. 4 overall selection to draft Tua Tagovailoa. After adding an offensive tackle at No. 5, the Giants turn their attention to the defense, which was downright atrocious at times last season.

This 2020 draft class is full of solid edge rushing talent, including a handful of guys who should hear their name called in the first round. Yetur Gross-Matos is a solid choice for the G-Men at pick No. 26, as he is a machine coming off the edge, and brings a skill set that this Giants defensive line has a weakness in.

New York has a brand new head coach in Joe Judge, who comes to the Giants after coaching under Bill Belichick in New England. It remains to be seen what he will be in his new role, but the Giants have some good, young talent, and he will be tasked at turning a franchise around that has been one of the worst in football for some time now.
