4th round

The Lions showed how serious they are about upgrading the offensive line by signing former Eagle ImNotGoingToEvenTryToSpellHisName Vaitai to a huge deal in free agency.

Vaitai will slot in at right tackle, but the fourth round could be a great spot to add a guard with West Virginia’s Colton McKivitz. McKivitz started at tackle (three at right, one at left) all four years with the Mountaineers, but his limited athleticism warrants a move inside to guard.

McKivitz’s length, power and nastiness as a blocker could make him a valuable piece in the Lions’ run game and challenge Oday Aboushi for the starting spot at right guard in his rookie year.
