Part of Trubisky’s (or Foles’) success next season will rely on the protection he gets from the offensive line. Chicago has a clear need at guard and addresses it with Kentucky’s Logan Stenberg in round five.
The former Wildcat is a mauler on the inside who helped to open up plenty of running lanes for Kentucky backs over the last three seasons. I could see Stenberg challenging to start at right guard on day one of his rookie year.

824. . S. Terrapins . Antoine Brooks Jr. 197. player
Eddie Jackson is currently the only Bears safety on the payroll after next season. Here, Chicago picks up some much-needed depth at the position with talented former Terrapin Antoine Brooks, Jr.
Cornerback will be a consideration in round two but, again, I expect the focus to be offense-heavy. UCF’s Nevelle Clark is one Day 3 prospect at cornerback who could interest the team at this spot.
7th round
My first punter of the mock season! Burn me at the stake!
234. player. 57. . QB. Chicago Bears. Ben DiNucci
A quarterback! From James Madison? Is it possible to burn me twice at the stake?
