2. Justin Watson, receiver

Justin Watson is another player that could benefit from an uptick in offensive production in Brady’s offense. He may end up No. 4 or No. 5 on the depth chart but he can still find a role and have a breakout season.

In his two NFL seasons with the Bucs, Watson has 16 receptions for 164 yards and two touchdowns but most of it came a year ago. It seems he continues to improve from year to year and now he could succeed in a limited role. Opposing defenses will, of course, be focused on Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, so when Watson is on the field it will surely be against one-on-one coverage.

He has the skills to make plays when he gets the opportunity, and if he develops a relationship with Brady he may become Chris Hogan-like. With Brady as his quarterback in New England, Hogan was able to catch 12 touchdowns in three seasons, tallying over 400 yards each year. Like Watson, he was not the top option on his team but found a way to play a role and make a difference behind Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski.

It would be a shocker if Watson does not at least take a step forward in 2020 but a breakout season is in the cards as well.
