12. Oklahoma Sooners

Oklahoma’s uniforms are great. They probably could be higher than this, but there are some pretty strong uniforms in front of them. They do about everything right with this uniform.

Starting with the jersey, there isn’t a lot I would change about it. The font of the word Oklahoma and the numbers is simple and clean. They have the stripes on the collar and arms which is great. The only thing about the stripes is they are a little wide, but that is nitpicking. I also love the fact that they have the two stripes down the side of the jersey that matchup with the shorts. What a great look.

The shorts are great also. They continue the stripes down the side that connect the jersey to the shorts which is great. I also like the added touch of crossing them near the bottom and having it wrap around the whole leg. Unlike Texas, this stripe goes all the way around and feels complete. I am not always a big fan of the logo on the front of the leg, but the OU just seems to fit. Overall the shorts are some of the best out there. They match the jersey and they definitely don’t try and do too much.

This is a great looking uniform and the whites and just as clean. If you want this in the top 10, I would not argue, but the uniforms ahead of them are mostly classic clean looks, but so is this. Oklahoma did it right with this one and should keep this for a long time.
