10. Villanova Wildcats

The Wildcats get bonus points for wearing these awesome throwback uniforms in the picture above. The light blue look is great with the navy blue and white. It is such a great look that I would argue that Villanova should make this is a permanent option for their basketball uniforms.

All their uniforms tops look close to the same with the font and numbering. I really like the shadow outline they have around the letters and numbers. It really makes it pop off the jersey. They do the good thing also by having the three stripes on the collar and the arms. It is a very good look I am not sure why so many teams go away from it.

The shorts are good also. They have the stripe around the legs and then have an extended navy stripe also (at least navy on this short set). It might be a little big but it doesn’t look bad at all. The other thing I love is they have the V on the side of the shorts. The V is a great logo and needed to be on the uniform and they get it done without it looking bad.

Villanova is yet another team that keeps it simple and it works. Too many teams want to be flashy and add all these little things to the uniform that clog it up and make it look too busy. This is definitely not one of those. I’ll say it again, Villanova please use this as your permanent road uniform, it’s awesome.
