3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tampa Bay finished 24th in the league in rushing last year (95.1 yards per carry), along with a dismal 3.7 yards per carry. With Tom Brady replacing Jameis Winston, the Buccaneers will have a far less mistake-prone quarterback and the defense was way better than it seemed last year under first-year coordinator Todd Bowles. Positive game scripts will naturally be more prevalent.

Ronald Jones seems to have found a little something last year, as he topped 1,000 total yards. But the Buccaneers are firmly in the market to draft a running back after letting Peyton Barber leave in free agency, perhaps someone with pass catching prowess like Clyde Edwards-Helaire or D’Andre Swift.

Brady likes throwing to running backs, and the Buccaneers need to do everything to maximize the two-year window with him under center. Putting the running game on better footing from the running back spot is an easy offshoot of that plan.

By the time they go on the clock in the second round of the draft, when a running back would be on the radar, the best of the crop might be gone. Maybe general manager Jason Licht will be tempted to include that pick in a deal for Fournette.

Tampa Bay is a landing spot with fantastic fantasy upside for Fournette in 2020.
