By Staff
The 2020 NFL Draft is coming up on Thursday, April 23, and the FanSided team put together a mock draft to help you quench your thirst.
We’re almost there. The 2020 NFL Draft is mere days away.
Here at FanSided, our NFL site experts came together to provide a comprehensive mock draft by each making the pick for their corresponding team.
Below are the videos of their picks, followed up by analysis from Matt Verderame, FanSided’s NFL reporter and Senior Editor.

Verderame reaction: This is the easiest choice in the draft. Burrow threw 60 touchdowns for LSU last year, en route to a national championship.
Verderame reaction: Young is widely believed to be the best player in the draft. Washington has to take him if the Redskins don’t move back.

Verderame reaction: The Lions are a popular pick to trade down and acquire more picks. However, if they stay here, Okudah is the right choice as a shutdown corner.
Verderame reaction: Simmons is an athletic freak. He’s the kind of player you build a defense around. The main objective here is having a smart coach who puts him in the best position to succeed.

Verderame reaction: If Tagovailoa remains healthy, this is a no-brainer. Of course, after ankle surgeries and a dislocated/fractured hip, this is a huge gamble.
Verderame reaction: If Herbert’s good, the Chargers are going to be a playoff team in 2020. While other available players have higher grades here, Herbert may make the biggest impact.
Verderame reaction: Brown is a monster on the interior, giving Carolina something it sorely Neds after being gashed by the run throughout 2019.
Verderame reaction: The Cardinals need to protect Kyler Murray, and Wirfs fits the bill. The hulking youngster from Iowa is an ideal fit on Murray’s blindside.
Verderame reaction: The Jaguars are trying to make Gardner Minshew work. If the second-year quarterback will have any hope, he needs protection. Becton is a mountain of a man who should do the job.
Verderame reaction: The third-consecutive tackle goes to the Browns, and he’s a fine one. Thomas dominated the SEC for years with the Bulldogs, and now goes to the defense-heavy AFC North.
Verderame reaction: The Jets could go receiver here, but considering the depth of the class and Wirfs’ ability, this is the right call. He should anchor the line for a decade.
Verderame reaction: The first receiver finally comes off the board, and he’s a phenomenal one. Lamb is the best at his position in this class, which considering how great it is, means plenty.
Verderame reaction: The run is on. Jeudy is the most polished of the receivers and projects to be an immediate impact player. He’ll be a nice upgrade in time over veteran Emmanuel Sanders.

Verderame reaction: The Buccaneers upgraded their offense by landing Tom Brady, but what of the defense? Ideally, Kinlaw provides what Gerald McCoy did for so many years.
Verderame reaction: Ruggs has been compared by many to Tyreek Hill, and the Broncos would love a similar scale of production. He’s an excellent compliment to Courtland Sutton.
Verderame reaction: Epenesa fell on some boards due to a tough combine, but his tape is solid in the Big Ten. The Falcons have been looking for a pass-rush since Vic Beasley’s one good season in 2016.
Verderame reaction: The Cowboys have to either go with center Cesar Ruiz or a defensive prospect. Chaisson checks all the boxes of a pass-rusher with immense upside.
Verderame reaction: The first running back off the board. Some may question Swift so high in the draft, but Ryan Fitzpatrick was Miami’s leading rusher in 2019.
Verderame reaction: Murray has athleticism for days. He struggles against the run but has the tools to cover and is a terrific blitzer.
Verderame reaction: If Henderson lasts until this pick, general manager Dave Caldwell doesn’t have a decision to make. There are some within NFL circles who believe he could be Jacksonville’s pick at No. 9.
Verderame reaction: Jefferson had an absurd year with LSU in 2019, catching 111 passes for 1,540 yards and 18 touchdowns. He would form a terrific tandem with DeSean Jackson on the outside.
Verderame reaction: A second straight pick out of LSU, this one on the defensive side. Fulton is a first-round corner all day with good technique and upside. Minnesota would be thrilled to land him.

Verderame reaction: Devin McCourty and Patrick Chung aren’t getting any younger. McKinney is the draft’s top safety and makes sense, especially with the relationship of Nick Saban and Bill Belichick.
Verderame reaction: The Saints might have the best roster in football, and can go anywhere with this pick. Diggs is a smart corner out of Alabama who would pair nicely with Marshon Lattimore.
Verderame reaction: Mims has risen quickly up the board since starring at the Senior Bowl. His potential is enormous after three fantastic years at Baylor.
Verderame reaction: With the premium left tackles off the board, Miami gets a stalwart in the middle. The Dolphins need help across the roster, and Biadasz is a centerpiece for the line.
Verderame reaction: Regardless of whether Jadeveon Clowney is retained, the Seahawks need to upgrade their pass-rush. Gross-Matos is the best left on the board and fits the projection as a late-first round pick.
Verderame reaction: Queen is the quintessential Raven. The LSU star can go sideline-to-sideline and covers phenomenally against running back and tight ends.
Verderame reaction: Baun had 12.5 sacks for Wisconsin last year. The Titans can upgrade their pass-rush here while giving Harold Landry a running mate on the other edge.
Verderame reaction: The Packers desperately need a receiver opposite Davante Adams. Higgins is a burner who can stretch the field and provide Aaron Rodgers with, in theory, a terrific deep threat.
Verderame reaction: Delpit was dominant for LSU in 2018 before struggling last year amid injuries. If he can return to his previous form, this is a steal for San Francisco.
Verderame reaction: The Chiefs don’t have many needs, but a legitimate No. 1 corner is one. Johnson has such upside, and therefore makes ample sense for general manager Brett Veach.
