2020 NFL mock draft: Full 7 rounds without trades
The first-round talent coming out of Norman, Oklahoma is nothing short of incredible, and defensive lineman Neville Gallimore is another example. He has been mocked all over the place between late in the first and early in the second round, but his talent is undeniable. Gallimore would be an instant impact player and replacement for Jurrell Casey.
Casey left Tennessee for the Denver Broncos via a trade that sent a seventh-round pick to the Titans. Now, Jack Crawford and DaQuan Jones are left as the men in the middle, which leaves much to be desired.
As a senior Gallimore shined as he earned third-team AP All-American and second-team All-Big 12 honors. Those accolades came after he racked up 30 tackles, 7.5 for loss, four sacks, and two forced fumbles in 14 starts. He shows glimpses of elite talent but will require some further development at the next level.
Gallimore’s leverage is limited but Gallimore makes up for it with his high effort motor. Adding a two-gap technique to his repertoire will allow him to have sustained success in the NFL, but if that skill isn’t developed he may become a bust.
