Denzel Mims. 21. player. Pick Analysis. Baylor. WR. 54. Scouting Report

Mims is one of the biggest risers during the draft process. After starring at Baylor over the past three seasons under now-Carolina Panthers head coach Matt Rhule, Mims starred at the Senior Bowl and the Scouting Combine. With the Bears, Mims caught 66 passes for 1,020 yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior, earning All-Big 12 honors.

No contender needs receiver help more than the Eagles, making this a perfect fit. Normally, taking the sixth receiver in the draft would be around the 50th-overall pick, but nothing about this class is normal. In most years, Mims would be one of the top three receivers in the class. He should be an immediate impact player for the Eagles.

player. 60. Pick Analysis. CB. TCU. Jeff Gladney. Scouting Report. 22

The Vikings have two first-round picks in the span of four spots. While there is a clear need for receiving talent after dealing Stefon Diggs to the Buffalo Bills (for this pick, among others), the need for a cornerback is more pressing.

Minnesota lost corners Mackensie Alexander and Trae Waynes to free agency along with the release of veteran Xavier Rhodes. The Vikings are without a starting-caliber cornerback, and Jeff Gladney provides a quality plug-and-play rookie with upside. At TCU, Gladney went one-on-one some of the best receivers in the Big 12, including Mims and Lamb. He’s ready for the next level.
