Home: Atlanta Falcons

There are a couple games that could have been included here, but every team is going to lose a few games each year and the Chargers could lose to the Chiefs once, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (remember Tom Brady), New England Patriots, and the New Orleans Saints and still finish with 12 wins. That’s why we’ve focused on the Falcons as a game the team must win.

There’s zero reason why Dan Quinn should still be employed in Atlanta and it’s hard to see him turning things around. However, these non-conference one-offs can often be problematic for teams that are new to a coaching staff, and it’s important for the Chargers not to overlook this one as a mediocre NFC team coming to town.

When the Falcons are truly on, few offenses can compete with Matt Ryan and company and the Falcons will be under pressure to flip their own script in 2020 or else they’ll face a housecleaning of their own. Fortunately there’s just too much talent for the Chargers to lose this game if they keep themselves focused.
