These are the 5 Bucs games we want to see in prime time in 2020

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers went from being fairly irrelevant to now owning a 14-1 shot at winning the Super Bowl in the 2020 season. Their 2020 schedule is loaded with games that would be great to watch in prime time.

The Bucs haven’t made the playoffs since the 2007 season and haven’t had a winning season since 2016. Things are about to change with Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski coming to town, however, and the 2020 schedule has a boatload of games that NFL fans consider must-see match-ups for prime time.

LOS ANGELES RAMS

Since the Bucs now look like the Patriots, it’s only fitting that we want to see a rematch of Super Bowl 53 and hopefully a better match-up this time around.

They might not have Todd Gurley anymore, but don’t get it twisted, Sean McVay is still an offensive genius and it’d be fun to see both of these offenses go head-to-head in Tampa.

MINNESOTA VIKINGS

The Vikings made it to the NFC Divisional round last year and did so behind a stout run game. Tampa, on the other hand, had one of the best run-stopping defenses in the league and it’d sure be fun to see those two square off. The Bucs might lean more on their passing in this one, but even then, this game would pit two pretty evenly matched defenses against each other.

GREEN BAY PACKERS

Tom Brady playing in the AFC means that we haven’t gotten to see him face Aaron Rodgers much during his career. That will change now that he’s in the NFC and we’re fortunate that the Packers and Bucs are set to play each other in 2020. Brady vs. Rodgers is reason enough to include this one in prime time.

NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

If Brady vs. Rodgers is a no-brainer to have in prime time, then why wouldn’t Tom Brady vs. Drew Brees be just as worthy of a prime TV spot? On top of that, the Bucs and Saints are both in the NFC South and will be battling for the division crown, so there are two opportunities to include this one in prime time.

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

Last, but not least, the Bucs vs. Chiefs is an absolute must and it should be on Sunday Night Football. Who doesn’t want to see the Super Bowl champion Chiefs against what’s essentially the new Patriots? The Chiefs defeated Brady in Foxborough last season, but in 2018 he and his Pats kept the Chiefs out of the Super Bowl.

The Bucs have been on Sunday Night Football once in the past five years and that was when they made a late season push toward the playoffs. With Brady and Gronkowski now joining their offense, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers should have several games in prime time and these are five that need to happen in some capacity whether it’s Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football, or even the less popular Thursday Night Football.
